Benny Burns

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Benny is no stranger to entertainment. He found a love for film and acting at a young age, recognizing early on that the stories we tell are what help shape us and the world around us. He first found himself on stage in his Senior year of High-School, playing the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors (after the first choice for the role had dropped out). From there, he was hooked.

Benny went on to train with Lauren Patrice Nadler while pursuing a degree in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge. He worked at Paramount Pictures for almost 5 years before turning his sights to acting and writing professionally in late 2023.​

Since then, and thanks to his consistent training, Benny has been able to quickly gain representation and book a number of exciting roles. He's a versatile actor, able to fit into a variety of characters across genres, but is most drawn to projects with science-fiction and historical elements. His writing projects include his musical anthology series American Jukebox, which he is now shopping, and a science-fiction feature in development.
